“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself
that you have built against it."
‘Rumi’
This is an experiential workshop. We will explore together how we can create an experience
of safety and support and compassion as a felt energy in the group. This is an environment
where feelings and experiences are accepted and welcomed and can be embraced with
compassion.
Humans are wild by nature. A lot of us, however, have been tamed by society. We are all inherently connected to one another and all other ecological elements (creatures, plants, water, fire, stars, moons, skies etc.).
"Hence we develop a sense of the endless complexity of existence; and realize that wildness, a state where things are allowed to happen of their own accord, is far more deeply complex than domesticated civilization, just as a jungle - or even a piece of wasteland - is more complex than a garden. Psychotherapy has often opposed the cultural message 'Be in control of yourself and your environment': it has tried to help people tolerate the anxiety of not being in control - of our feelings, our thoughts, our body, our future".
